"Here, I sail!" - come sail the Aegean!

The popular charter yacht, ECCE NAVIGO is the product of the inspired collaboration of three men; one a discerning owner, the second, an innovative naval architect and the third, a master craftsman in the art of wooden boat building. And so it was that three minds came together to create an eye-catching, traditionally-styled wooden motor-sailer; one that had the look and feel of a traditional schooner-rigged gulet, yet was capable of outstanding sail performance and offered a superior level of comfort.

ECCE NAVIGO (Latin: "Here, I sail!") was launched in 1997 and carefully refitted during the winter of 2008, during which time a bar was added in the deck saloon, along with some updates to on board technology. The yacht now boasts a modern satellite entertainment system, complete with large screen LCD television and a library of DVDs and music CDs. Her guests have access to a wireless internet connection, if they need to "keep in touch" with goings on around the world.

ECCE NAVIGO's interior exudes an elegant timelessness. It is cool, spacious and beautifully decorated in handcrafted mahogany. She is the perfect yacht for a family or a group of couples, as she easily accommodates a party of up to ten guests in five spacious cabins. Each cabin is finished to a very high standard, with individual music system, individually controllable air-conditioning and an en suite bathroom. A full-width double master cabin and two twin cabins are located aft. The master cabin has its own entertainment system with television, DVD player and CD player. Forward of the saloon are two double cabins, one of which is fitted with a separate entertainment system.

The yacht's saloon is a focal point, superbly laid out with a comfortable indoor dining and entertainment area. While underway, the younger members of the group can watch a film or play their favorite music from their ipod in air-conditioned comfort. If they wish to bring their "Wii" or "Playstation" along for the ride, the saloon easily becomes the games room. On deck, Ecce Navigo provides ample space for sitting and lounging in both the sun and under the shade of a protective awning. The forward deck dining area is very private and ideally suited to gatherings away from quayside hustle and bustle, while the aft deck offers a comfortable seating area with a large dining table for enjoying meals "al fresco". . . in the shade by day and under a starlit sky by night. Ecce Navigo has a classic schooner rig with self-tacking booms and furling equipment designed for ease of handling by the crew. She has a considerable amount of sail area which makes for an optimal sailing experience. The yacht is fully-equipped with a good selection of water toys including water-ski, knee board, wake board, two kayaks and wind surfing board. She offers an excellent sea platform, designed for all ages, which ensures easy sea access for swimming and water-based activities.

El precio del alquiler incluye el alquiler del yate y su equipamiento en estado de funcionamiento, los servicios de la tripulación y el seguro del yate.

NO INCLUIDO EN EL PRECIO

APA, avance para aprovisionamiento o Advanced Provisioning Allowance es la cantidad necesaria para cubrir y pagar los gastos durante el alquiler de un yate. Son costes que no están incluidos en el precio del chárter de yate. Se trata de comida, bebida, combustible, amarres en puertos deportivos, tasas portuarias, traslados, etc. Hay que pagar un depósito por adelantado para los gastos juntamente con el precio contractual del alquiler del yate. Normalmente, el APA es de entre el 30% y el 40% del precio de alquiler del yate. Antes de iniciar el chárter el capitán se encarga de adquirir todas las provisiones necesarias y lleva un registro de todos los gastos. Si esa cantidad (30%-40% de APA) resulta más que suficiente para cubrir el chárter y los gastos adicionales surgidos durante el viaje, los fondos no gastados se devuelven al arrendatario del yate. Por supuesto, también ocurre que el depósito (APA) no sea suficiente para cubrir todos los gastos, en cuyo caso el capitán del yate informará a los huéspedes de la necesidad de cubrir gastos.
