It may be surprising, but many of the charter yachts that operate in the Mediterranean already receive booking for summer 2020 season. In the industry it is a usual practice because clients and yacht agents know - the best charter yachts get booked quickly for the best yachting months (July, August).
If you know in advance when you plan your vacation next summer or you have an exact date when you wish to celebrate a birthday on board, an anniversary, if you know when you plan a wedding reception or a yoga retreat with your students, then it is a good idea to secure the dates with a yacht that you choose for your cruising experience.
Most of the yachts offer early booking discounts. Such offers usually are valid until the end of the current year or until the end of January 31, 2020. An early booking discount for a charter yacht is at least of 5%.
It is also worth mentioning that soon some yachts will update the rates for the next season if they haven’t done it yet. This means that the prices for a charter week will grow. Now you can easily choose a boat that accepts bookings for the next year with current 2019 charter rates. And if such yacht also offers an early booking discount, then you save pretty good amount of money.
Nevertheless, it is something for your consideration. By the way, when you book a yacht in advance, you don’t need to pay the whole amount to secure a booking. You transfer only 50% of the charter rate and the rest is paid a month or two before the charter starts.
