ABOUT YACHT

The motor-sailing yacht, QUEEN OF DATCA is a large, luxurious gulet with masses of deck space and a highly experienced crew of 6. Add a traditional hull design and 1,000 square metres of sail area and the result is a classic sailing yacht, with a style reminiscent of the past. QUEEN OF DATCA was designed to provide the traveller with a relaxed atmosphere and all the comforts of home while cruising the waters of the Mediterranean.

QUEEN OF DATCA measures 115 feet in length and offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 luxuriously-appointed, air-conditioned cabins. Her mahogany interior gleams with beautiful varnished woodwork throughout and is extremely spacious. The main deck saloon is very comfortable, with two white duck slip covered club chairs alongside the interior dining area. And, as is always a major attraction on a gulet, there is a large exterior dining table for on deck dining either under the shade of the sun awning or under the stars at night. Across the stern of the yacht is a large cushioned lounging area, where the sun pads are covered in soft fabrics, creating the perfect spot for relaxing into an afternoon nap after a delicious al fresco lunch. An additional sunning area is provided on cabin house deck, located forward.

Of the yacht's five cabins, there are two master staterooms, each with a king size bed; one double bed stateroom with a queen size bed and two staterooms, each with two twin beds. All staterooms have a fully-equipped luxury bathroom with large showers finished in tile and stone. Quality sheets, towels and bath products create the finishing touch for this luxury gulet - where the interior style décor of navy blue and white.

The pleasure of dining with the sound of the rippling waves and the lights of sunset promise an epicurean journey of a lifetime. You may choose to have your lunch or dinner either in the roomy indoor saloon with sofa seating or at the aft dining table on the spacious aft deck, where 8 guests can be seated in comfort. On board cuisine is diversified and menus are customised to appeal to each guests’ individual requirements. Guests will delight in the offerings of an experienced chef who cooks according to their preferences! The ship can cater for all meals during the course of the charter - although its always an enjoyable experience to dine ashore with the locals.

One final point to note, it is pleasing to know that sailing aboard the QUEEN of DATCA is on offer at all times (weather permitting!) Captain Remzi - who is experienced in chartering in Croatia - is keen to introduce the pleasure of sailing to those who have yet to savour it! QUEEN OF DATCA can sail quite nicely at a speed of 7 knots, which adds just another layer of enjoyment to this fabulous holiday offering!

RATE INCLUDES

The Charter Fee includes the charter of the yacht with all its equipment in working order, tools, stores, cleaning materials, basic consumable stores for engine-room, deck and cabins etc.; the crew's wages, food; the insurance of the yacht for marine risk and third party claims and the crew for employer's liability.

RATE EXCLUDES

VAT according to the cruising area

Advanced provisioning allowance (APA): the charterer is charged extra, at cost, for the charter expenses: fuel for the yacht, RIB or other tenders; food, soft drinks, wines, beers, spirits for the charterer, other consumable stores, berthing dues and other harbour charges away from the yacht's own berth, including pilotage fees and charges for water and electricity taken from the shore, laundry, telephone, fax or telex via radio or Inmarsat, as well as the hire costs of any special equipment placed on board at the request of the charterer. 25-40% APA is given to the yacht prior to the charter to allow the captain to buy fuel and provision the yacht as per the charterer's demands. At the end of the charter, the captain presents full accounts of all expenditure. The charterer is either refunded any money not used or asked to pay any additional costs not covered by the APA.
