WHY A GULET?

Chartering a gulet costs less than renting a motor yacht. Most often gulet weekly rates include fuel for four hours of cruising per day and the fuel needed to run A/C. And if you rent a motor yacht, all fuel expenses are extra. So choosing a traditional Turkish wooden yacht for a vacation can save you a lot.

Gulets are extremely spacious. If a motor yacht features only a tiny foredeck area where 2-4 guests can sunbathe, an aft deck for al fresco dining, and sometimes a flybridge for lounging, gulet’s deck space is much larger. So everyone on board will feel comfortable and can find their own privacy to relax and enjoy a holiday on the water.

As we already mentioned, there are many gulets that can accommodate more than 12 guests onboard at the same time. It is something impossible for a motor yacht if we speak about gulet price range. Imagine you want to travel with all your big family together, and you can't fit all on one yacht. This is not very nice if your budget is limited and you can't charter 3 gulets to accommodate all members of the group, then renting one gulet for 20-30 guests is quite possible for a very good price.

Gulets are stable on water because they have a wide beam. It is a good feature for those who don’t really enjoy wavy passages.
